For years we reveled in watching Inspector Morse on PBS Mystery! along with Morse's long suffering Detective Sergeant Lewis. Ah the murders and plots of Oxford, England. The series ended with the death of Chief Inspector Morse. The other year we got a special Inspector Lewis, which only served to whet our appetites for more.
Tonight we're watching the first episode of Inspector Lewis: Series I.
We loves us some good class schisms and bad behaving educated types. (grin)
Huh... New Curtains?
Haven't watched much of Masterpiece Theatre in many years. I'd heard that it was now just Masterpiece, and Mystery!, which once began on Masterpiece Theatre, is now Masterpiece Mystery.
We were glued to PBS on Sunday and Thursday nights, but I'm pretty sure that competition for British programming, especially with BBC America, is responsible for our decrease in viewing. We don't buy any of the extra movie channels and we don't get the digital TV upgrade, so we don't get BBC America.
Anyway, PBS shows us more Inspector Lewis, we'll watch. (double-series-grin)
