I Can't Lose

After a few minutes delay due to finishing showing the University of Washington Huskies beat Illinois in Soldier Field in Chicago, the Big Ten Network is now settling in for the 9pm (!) Game between the Western Michigan University Broncos coming to Evanston and the Northwestern University Wildcats. My employer college (and not-to-be completed work on a 2nd PhD in Science Education -- I had no heart to wade through a second dissertation when no one was interested in college physics curriculum reform at the time) versus my alma mater.

First moments I saw had WMU intercepting NU.

So unless it ends in a tie, always a possibility with MY sports rooting luck, I can't lose!

I can have mixed feelings. On the one hand, it would be good for Western to best a Big Ten team and NOT be a MAC conference sacrificial lamb. On the other hand, I'd rather it not be MY Big Ten team. (double-jeopardy-grin)
