11 December 2013. In European date shorthand, that translates to 11.12.13, if you select dd.mm.yy for two-digit years. Make of the accidental alignment of numbers what you will.
To some extent, this ends a sequence started with 01.02.03, and it'll be a long time before we get around to this series again. In ninety years, I will probably be dead -- like Haley's Comet, I won't live long enough to see the next passing.
Kind of nice to have events on a schedule which define generations.
Last Month
Of course on this side of the puddle, we had November 12th or 11/12/13 in mm/dd/yy format.
For Added Measure
You could have thrown in the 24 hour clock yesterday and gotten 11.12.13 14:15. There are many combinations which stir recognition in our brains which are constantly searching for patterns and meanings in things. It's an omen! It's a mere coincidence!
On a daily basis, I am amused by the "magic" times of 12:34 or 01:23. And Pi Time -- 3:14.
Ah the human mind. Which apparently doesn't have enough to do. (grin)
