I just looked at the programming and there's a lot of good stuff. Plus some episodes of my favorite anime including Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. PLEASE, guys, have a great time.
However, at least this is a bonus year and nearly all of the people I am missing this weekend will be at Detcon 1 in Detroit come July.
And my next scheduled con appearance will be in Madison WI over the Memorial Day weekend at WisCon 38. May seems so very far away right now, but at the end of April after reading a hundred science literacy papers, I will be so ready. (grin) Don't know what I'll be doing yet -- "In February we open up programming for participants to let us know their interest in a programming idea and to volunteer to serve as panelists or moderators."
And in the endless cycle of last con/this con/next con, WindyCon 41 in November doesn't have anything on its website save a marker page for 2014. But I hope to drive off to WindyCon this year as well.
Now if I could only figure out how to get a shoe over my AFO without help, I could be a big boy and do these overnight travel things by myself. (grin) Or regrow my left foot nerves so I don't have foot drop anymore. (you-gotta-dream-big-grin)
