They Didn't Ask Me

As 2015 Wanes...

I usually do my end-of-year bills -- professional memberships and university gifts -- the Sunday before New Year's Eve, but it didn't happen.

Actually I did my Northwestern gift early, because an alum was matching $50 of every gift up to some level. Didn't want NU to miss out on any of the fun.

Anyway, I don't do these on the Kindle Fire HD, because I've got record files on my PCs, so I had to have an aide get out a real computer for me. Took about an hour.

During which time the #4 Michigan State-#3 Alabama game went from bad to awful. Which is why this blog post doesn't warrant an MSU icon. Phooey. 38-0 in the 4th right now during the 11 o'clock news.

As I mentioned in the last post, I sent in my WOTF story completely from the Kindle. About 22 hours and 40 minutes earlier than usual -- and that assumes I don't stretch things to the midnight PST deadline.

Odd to be here in the hospital on New Year's Eve. But Mrs. Dr. Phil had made up a bag of chocolates for the nurses and aides. I had it sent up around 9pm, while I was Skyping with Mrs. Dr. Phil. For those who had to work on the holiday. We're nice that way.

Next post will be from the future, at least in this time zone.
